Casual, Competitive, or Professional:
At Yu-Gi-Oh! Shonen Jump Championships, the emphasis is on professional play with a high degree of sportsmanship. You need to know the rules well, and be polite and respectful to your opponents. If there is a disagreement, or a question about a ruling, you need to call a judge.

Preparing for the event:

  • Make sure your deck complies with the current Forbidden / Limited Lists for Advanced Format.
  • If you are using sleeves be sure they are all the same color and size.
  • Make sure that you know the rules very well, and have read the card specific rulings on the cards in your deck before coming to the tournament.
  • Be careful to never accept, or offer anything in exchange for a concession. Bribery is something that UDE and Cascade Games takes very seriously.
  • It could be a very long day, we suggest bringing a bottle of water.
