Magic - PTQ - Japan - in Salt Lake City
December 6, 2008
Format: Sealed Deck
Registration: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
Entry Fee: $30.00
Notes:

This event has been moved to a larger venue - and the date changed to Dec 6 in order to accommodate the high expected attendance. This PTQ round has been setting attendance records and it seems prudent to have a larger room.
I apologize for the need to make this change but I feel that the disruption of changing dates is a smaller problem than the problems that would be caused by not having enough space for everyone who wants to play.

Regular, Competitive, or Professional:

At Magic Pro Tour Qualifier events, the emphasis is on competitive play with a high degree of sportsmanship. You need to know the rules well, and be polite and respectful to your opponents. If there is a disagreement, or a question about a ruling, you need to call a judge.

Preparing for the event:

  • If you will be using sleeves be sure they are all the same color and size.
  • Be careful to never accept, or offer anything in exchange for a concession. Bribery is something that Wizards of the Coast and Cascade Games takes very seriously.
  • It will be a long day, we suggest bringing a bottle of water.
  • We will not take a break for lunch.  If you end a round quickly, we suggest getting lunch.
