Last Chance Grand Prix Trials (GPT)

Sealed Deck - $30

Play individual sealed deck to earn your team byes.  32-players, single elimination.

  • 1st: Two-round bye into the GP San Jose main event for your team
  • 2nd: 18 packs
  • 3rd & 4th: 9 packs each

Registration opens at noon and continues all day.  A 32-person GPT begins every time we have 32 players.

 

FRI 3pm

Team Limited Practice

Team Limited (3 player Sealed deck) - $40 per team

Each team builds three decks using 12 boosters of Return to Ravnica. Prizes after 3 rounds of swiss.

 

Registration opens at 2pm.  Play begins at 3pm.

 

FRI 4pm

Ravnica & Return to Ravnica Retro Sealed

Sealed Deck - $25

Build a sealed deck using a random Ravnica, Block theme deck and 3 boosters of Return to Ravnica. 

  • Top 4 players each receive a box of Return to Ravnica
  • Additional pack prizes based on attendance.

Registration opens at 3pm.  Play begins at 4pm.

Legacy for Free Events All Weekend

Legacy - $20

Play Legacy to win free scheduled events all weekend long. 

  • Top 2 players each receive a box of Return to Ravnica
  • Top 2 players each receive free entry into all scheduled public events
  • Additional pack prizes based on attendance.

Registration opens at 4pm.  Play begins at 5pm.

 

FRI 6pm

Chase the Foils

Sealed Deck - $25

Return to Ravnica sealed deck.  Prizes are based on points after 4 rounds of Swiss:

 

  • 12 Points:     4 promo cards & 4 boosters
  • 9-11 Points: 2 promo cards & 2 boosters
  • 6-8 Points:   1 promo card & 1 booster
  • < 6 Points:    1 promo card

Promo card choices are limited to one choice of each type available (no duplicates).

 

Registration opens at 5pm.  Play begins at 6pm.

  • Players must bring pen, paper, card sleeves and appropriate counters.
